The action amends the Senate&#8217;s conflict-of-interest rules and does not require approval by the House of Representatives. The House has a <a href=\"https:\/\/titus.house.gov\/uploadedfiles\/titus_284_xml_3.pdf\">pending resolution<\/a> that would impose a similar rule on its own members.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUnited States Senators have no business engaging in speculative activities like prediction markets while collecting a taxpayer-funded paycheck, period,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.moreno.senate.gov\/press-releases\/moreno-resolution-banning-senators-from-using-prediction-markets-passes-unanimously\/\">said<\/a> Sen.
